The Middle Room is a contemporary musical that tells the story of a home, and the countless lives interwoven within it. Somewhere between a Broadway musical and a folk jam, visiting The Middle Room feels like visiting an Australian family home, and being a part of the chaos, and the music. The show spans decades, using acoustic singer-songwriter sounds to tell the stories of this family from the 90s to today,
After many years of writing and workshopping The Middle Room, Grace and her cast shared this project with the word in January of 2026, for 3 preview shows at Pip Theatre.

Grace Spinks is a singer-songwriter from Brisbane, Australia.
Grace has been singing and writing songs for as long as she can remember. In 2024, Grace graduated from The Queensland Conservatorium of Music, where she majored in Popular Music as a vocalist. In 2025 she returned to The Con for her Honours, focusing on composing for musical theatre. Grace recently released an EP with Josh Crawford. The 'Made The Call' EP is the debut release from their duo 'Josh & Grace.' With new and exciting projects on the horizon, and a fresh collection of songs under her belt, Grace is a rising star to watch.
